This week, we’d like to share a photo that dates back to the 1980s. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, we believe it’s worth sharing due to its historical significance. This photograph was taken on the afternoon of August 6, 1985, capturing an aerial view of White House Farm, near the village of Tolleshunt D’Arcy in Essex. Little did we know that later that same night, a tragic event would unfold, five murders would take place…
A few years after this gruesome incident, we were contacted by well-known true crime author Carol Ann Lee, who was conducting research for a book she was writing about the White House Farm tragedy. We felt privileged to be able to provide her with this particular shot, which offered a unique perspective overlooking the farm. Subsequently, this image found its place in her renowned book, “The Murders at White House Farm“.
This literary work delves deep into the chilling events of that day, giving readers a glimpse into the horror and mystery surrounding the White House Farm murders. We recommend reading her book yourself if you want to learn more details about what happened that night.
